Sunset Equipment has more than 40 years experience in the earthmoving and mining machinery industry and is a major importer of heavy machinery into Australia. We specialise in the sale and rental of new and used excavators, dump trucks, crawler carriers and aerial platforms for any job, no matter the size.

Based in Brisbane, Queensland, Sunset Equipment has been the exclusive Morooka dealer for the Oceania region since 2004 and to this day leads the market in Morooka rubber-tracked carriers for sales, service and specialist modifications.  

In 2008, Sunset Equipment was appointed Distributor for the German-made Hydrema earthmoving equipment product range as well as their Military Defence equipment.  Manufactured in Denmark and Germany, Hydrema’s series of articulated equipment is designed with unique features that serve the needs of the construction, rail, forestry and landscaping industries. 

2008 also saw Sunset Equipment begin a relationship with Dustex Australia to sell their dust and road stabilisation product that virtually eliminates dust and costly watering and maintenance procedures on most sites - a highly sought after product on most construction sites.

In the last 12 months, Sunset Equipment has set up a national distributor network for sales and service including Papua New Guinea to bring their extensive range of earthmoving products to more customers in the Oceania region (check out the Gallery to see some of our range in action in PNG!). We also became an approved Hydraulink service provider, allowing us to make and repair hydraulic hoses onsite while you wait.

2010 started with a bang, with Sunset Equipment becoming the new exclusive Nagano distributor in Australia. The smaller, lower-cost, highly reliable Nagano excavators and aerial platforms allows Sunset Equipment to supply the agricultural, landscaping and construction industries with equipment that suits smaller-scale projects.
